Import As New List
- Login to your PITCHcrm account.
- Navigate to List Manager and click Add New.
- Enter a name for your list, then select a Static list type.
- Choose the option to Import Contacts. Note: Import Contacts option is only made available after selecting Static list type.
- We recommend that you import contacts using our Import Template that you can download from the Add List screen or by clicking here, this assures the file will be read properly by Pitch. Please copy your contact details and paste into this template. Note: We highly recomend adding a Tag Name column to imported contacts, as this allows them to be easily filtered in/out of lists the future.
- Click Browse to choose the import file from your device. Click Import.
- Check the fields to be imported, and select the associated column heading from your import file.
- Click Import to start importing. Note: Use the Upload/Download Manager (Contacts menu) to monitor the import progress.
Import Into Database
Another option is to import contacts into the PITCH database, without creating a new contact list.
- Navigate to Manage Contacts.
- Click Add New and select Import Contacts.
- Type the Job Name. An existing Static list can be selected in this step but not required. Note: Only Static lists types can accept imported records. Imported contacts will be added to Dynamic lists IF their data matches the list filters/criteria.
- Click Browse to choose the import file. Click Import.
- Check the fields to be imported, and select the associated column heading from your import file.
- Click Import to start importing. Note: Use the Upload/Download Manager (Contacts menu) to monitor the import progress.
