Have you ever received a marketing email that just seemed to speak directly to you? Did this email include products or services that were tailored to your specific needs or interests? Most of you have probably encountered this scenario before; and if you didn't make a purchase then, I'm willing to bet you at least considered the offer... PITCHcrm's Dynamic campaigns allow you to send these types of marketing messages to your customers automatically.
Dynamic campaigns are automated by Triggers, which are events/actions from your tee sheet and/or database that "trigger" an email to be sent. The key to planning an effective Dynamic campaign strategy is identifying what Trigger (event or action) should prompt each campaign to send. Then, the types of contacts that will be included can be narrowed down using the Audience filters. Below are the different Triggers available in PITCHcrm Golf, with examples on how they might be used...
- Contact's Birthday: uses a contact's birthday information to trigger an email. (Schedule in the final step to control the number of days before/after)
- Use Case Example: Grow your database with a Birthday Club and Dynamic campaigns to send Happy Birthday promotions automatically.
- Days Since Last Played: uses checked-in rounds data to trigger an email. You control when each campaign sends by entering the number of days after a checked in round.
- Use Case Example: Send a feedback survey 1 day after customer rounds, or a 'we miss you' email when customers haven't played in 60 days.
- Number of Rounds Played: uses the number of rounds played within a given number of days to trigger an email.
- Use Case Example: Promote your memberships or loyalty programs to frequent customers who've played 3 rounds in the last 60 days.
- Days Since Added: uses the date a customer (contact) was added to your database to trigger an email.
- Use Case Example: Welcome new customers and make them aware of additional products & services, like retail or food & beverage offerings.
- Subscription Starts/Ends: uses the membership start or end dates to trigger an email. Subscription ends allows you to set the condition before or after the expiration date.
- Use Case Example: Inform new members of their member benefits with Subscription Starts; or expiration warnings before/after using the Subscription Ends trigger.
- Individual Tee Times: uses scheduled tee times to send multiple times daily at the interval of your tee times, X hours before/after the tee time.
- Use Case Example: Send a reservation reminder email 24 hours before customer tee times.
- All Tee Times For The Day: uses scheduled tee times to send once daily to every reservation, the send time is set using 'Schedule' in the last step.
- Use Case Example: Send warnings to No Shows or Cancelled reservations from each day at 7pm.
- Individual Reservation/Tee Time Booked: uses the date/time a reservation was made to send X amount of hours after.
- Use Case Example: Send a 'What to expect' email after tee times are booked. (Remember, customers will also receive a confirmation email from Lightspeed as well)
- Contact Tag Assigned: uses the date/time Tags are added to contacts to trigger an email.
- Use Case Example: Send a newsletter overview when customers submit a form built in Form Creator.
The most commonly used dynamic campaign trigger is Days Since Last Played, which is used to build a customer retention strategy. We recommend starting your automation with a group of retention campaigns that send 1, 5, 19, 33, 60, 90 days after the last round a contact has played. In the PITCHcrm Template Library you will find pre-loaded templates which make these campaigns quick and easy to setup.
